How to grind wood powder for making natural incense sticks?

In Viet Nam, the best material for wood powder is rubber wood. It is cheap and has a huge quantity. However, we don’t cut full rubber trees and grind them. Because that will make the cost very high. We have to collect the saw dust from the factories which use rubber wood to make furniture.

The manager of the grinding factories has to care the quality of the saw dust every time the trucks come. Because the furniture factories use mostly rubber trees but sometimes they use different trees to make some small details such as door-handles. He has to seperate the not-rubber-wood-powder and use for other products. Or sometimes, the furniture factories use old rubber trees, that will make the final products dark colour and heavy. Therefore, the production manager has to find out and mix with a proper ratio to make all the materials even. After that, the materials will go through a big grinding machine to grind perfunctorily.

Next, these materials will go into a big grinding machine with motor of 200 hp and 208 dies. Only this such big machine will grind the saw dust well and give good quantity per day.

After grinding, the powder must be screened in a 100 mesh net. Only the powder which can go through this net is accepted. The remaining powder is considered wastes. It will be packed and send to make wood pellets.

Profit of the grinding factories depends on the wastes more or less. So to reduce the waste, lots of factories will put 80 mesh net only but they tell customers it’s 100 mesh. If you buy it and buy our real 100 mesh products, you can see the clear difference.
